Rebecca discovered her passion for stained glass nearly two decades ago after taking an instructional course. She has honed her skills ever since, creating a wide-range of fine stained glass commissions, accents and specialty items for exhibits and shows around the Shenandoah Valley.  In 2001, Rebecca and her husband, Steve, were introduced to a machine that could “cut glass like butter,” and they were officially hooked on the amazing artisan pieces that could be created for home and business with custom-designed stained glass and many other materials (stone, metal, cork, commercial flooring, etc.). Steve and Rebecca decided to open a waterjet cutting service, BrydgeWorks Waterjet, and added BrydgeWorks Glass Studio, Gift Shop and Warehouse in 2015.

Key took her first class for stained glass in 1987 and has since made her career based on her love for glass art. Key has built hundreds of custom windows featured in businesses and homes around the valley. Key says that she has “always loved stained glass”.
